Osceola Garbage Collection
According to the rules and regulations of Osceola County, place your cart at curbside no earlier than 6 PM the night before collection day and no later than 6 AM on your trash collection day. Place your cart in a way that its lid will face the street, so the trash collection truck can easily pick up your trash.
Place your cart in an open area free of obstacles such as parked cars, poles, and mailboxes. Remove your carts promptly once your trash has been collected. Additionally, when placing your cart at curbside, leave at least 4 feet of space around your cart so that it can be easily picked up by an automatic trash collection truck.
Recycling Collection
Recycling collection services are provided to the residents of Osceola County on the same day as garbage collection. So, place your recycling materials in a separate recycling cart along with your garbage at the curbside to ensure your recycling pickup. Recycling minimizes the use of natural resources and ensures the sustainability of a healthy environment.
Recyclable trash includes plastic bottles, aluminum cans, flattened cardboard, paper, and clean food boxes such as pizza boxes. Do not place any plastic bags or contaminants into your recycling carts; otherwise, your cart will not be serviced. Plastic bags disrupt the recycling process because they block recycling machines.
Bulk Items Collection
Bulk trash collection service will be provided once a week on the same day as your residential garbage collection. Bulk trash includes broken furniture such as chairs, tables, beds, couches, and mattresses. Home appliances are not collected as bulk trash. Additionally, you can place only 3 cubic yards of bulk trash at curbside per week.
If you have a large amount of bulk trash that exceeds 3 cubic yards, you need to contact the supplemental service provider at 407-605-3892. They will schedule a special pickup for your bulk collection. They will charge a fee for their service, which is approximately $12.01 per cubic yard.
