As a citizen of the City of Kingman, it is your responsibility to place your trash properly at the curbside to ensure your collection. Place your trash at the curbside by 6 AM on your assigned day of collection. Place your trash carts in a spot that will be easily accessible by the trash collection truck.
Roll your container back on the same day of collection as soon as possible when your trash gets collected. Moreover, try to wash your trash carts after every collection to reduce odors and spills. Place your cart in a way that the arrow on its lid faces the front of the street.
Solid Waste Rates
Monthly solid waste fee is $20.37 for 90-gallon trash carts and shared 300-gallon carts as well. Your monthly waste collection fee will be added to your utility bills. If you are producing a lot of trash, then the city will provide you an additional 30-gallon trash cart for $20.37 additional charges.
Disposal of Fireplace Ashes
Do not place fire ashes into a trash container because these ashes could cause a fire that melts the container. If your container melts due to fire ashes, you will be punished. It is a crime according to the law (Ord 710 7/5/88). So, it is recommended to place all fire ashes into a galvanized container to allow them to cool for 48-72 hours.
