Scottsdale Trash Collection Time
Place your container at the curbside by 5 AM on your collection day in a way that the wheel is against the curb and the lid opens towards the front of the street. Remove your carts as soon as possible once your trash gets collected.
Place your carts away from obstacles that may prevent crew members from picking up trash. Place your carts at a distance of 4 feet from other carts, parked cars, mailboxes, and other obstacles.
Do not overfill your carts and place only close-lidded carts outside according to Maricopa County Health Department instructions. If your cart gets damaged, call 480-312-5600 or fill out an online application form to request a new cart.

Acceptable bulk materials include furniture, mattresses, tree limbs and branches, small clippings, grass, leaves, televisions, cactus, and century plants. Only place acceptable material at the curbside for collection. Do not place dirt, rocks, concrete, and cement along with bulk material because these types of material are not accepted.
Place your brush and bulk items at the curbside by 5 AM on Monday of your collection week. Keep a distance of 3 feet between brush (yard waste branches, clippings) and bulk (furniture, mattresses, and other large items).
If you have an alley, place bulk and brush items on your side of the alley along your property line only. In case you do not have an alley, then place bulk trash parallel to the street in front of your property line. The size of the pile must be 10 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 4 feet tall. How to Prepare Specific Items for Collection?
