Middleborough Trash Schedule

Middleborough Trash Schedule

Middleborough offers weekly curbside trash collection for residential properties with up to three units. Each participating household is given a 96-gallon rolling cart for rubbish disposal. Trash must be bagged and placed inside the cart with the lid closed. Overflowing carts will not be picked up.

Residents not using the automated cart system or those living on private roads must use official Middleborough trash bags, placed in covered barrels marked with the house number. These bags are available at local retailers including Hannaford’s, Trucchi’s, Walgreens, and the DPW office.

Trash collection days vary by street. You can check your designated collection day using the Collection Day by Street tool on the town’s official website.

Middleborough Recycling Schedule

Recycling is collected every other week on the same day as your trash. The town uses an “A Week” and “B Week” system to alternate collections. To check your assigned week, refer to the Rubbish & Recycling Calendar provided by the town.

You can recycle clean paper, cardboard, metal cans, glass bottles, and rigid plastics. Be sure that items are clean and placed loosely in the bin. Do not use plastic bags for recycling.

Middleborough Bulk Trash Schedule
