Solid Trash Schedule
Lynn trash schedule has different days set up for different materials to be disposed of in an order. Recycling is collected every other week on your regular collection day. The directions given state the recyclables and trash must be left at curbside by 5 P.M the day before the collection and no later than 7 A.M on the collection day. Recycling Schedule
Lynn Trash Schedule entertains a single-streamed system where you can put all the trash together for recycling without the need to sort types out and put them separately. It encloses paper, magazines, plastic bottles, containers & beverage cans etc . you are free to encapsulate them all together in one trash bin . Recycling collection is done every other week on your regular collection day . Bulk Trash Pickup / Large Items Pickup Schedule
To request a curbside bulky pickup call, contact Capitol Waste Services 1-855-533-3400.To lease additional trash or recycle containers or to request a repair of your barrel, contact the Department of Public Works at 781-586-8015. It is majorly designed for items like furniture and machinery costing a fee of $20 charged per item.
In order to avoid the prescribed fee, one is encouraged to go for the said dates of 7/13/24, 8/10/24, 9/14/24, 10/12/24, 11/9/24, 1/11/25 , 4/19/25, 5/10/25 and 6/14/25 from 8 a.m. to noon at Covanta, 247 Commercial St. Neither construction material nor any wood is allowed. Fluorescent bulbs may be dropped off by Monday to Thursday during business hours.
Yard Waste Collection
Leaf and yard waste are to be dropped off at 7 A.M every Saturday through Dec. 14, 2024 and from April 5, 2025 through Dec. 13, 2025 and are collected on your regular trash day during specified weeks. You may place yard waste curbside on your regular trash day the weeks of 9/16/24, 10/7/24, 10/21/24, 11/4/24, 11/11/24, 11/18/24, 12/2/24, 4/7/25 and 5/12/25. Leaves, grass and other materials should be placed in barrels or paper leaf bags. This service is only provided to residents of Lynn through required ID. Yard waste can include tree branches, leaves , organic garden waste and other forms of yard debris. Christmas tree and leaf and yard waste pickup will be Jan 6-10, 2025. Other items will not be counted in.
Holiday Trash Schedule
The Lynn Trash Schedule is adjusted to accompany the holidays and certain events observed. Incase of any holiday, the schedule of collection and recycling is usually delayed by one day . For instance if New Year is to be celebrated and the recycling day happens to be on the same day, it will be delayed by one whole day.
